A Sister’s Idea – A Custom Creation

This piece is a perfect example of how a customer’s idea can turn into something truly special.

The customer reached out to me with a very clear vision. She wanted to create a gift from one sister to another, something meaningful that would also make her sister smile. She told me how much her sister loved llamas and shared the quote she wanted included.

From there, my job was simply to bring her vision to life — combining the image, the quote, and the design into something that felt personal and heartfelt.

The final result became this beautiful, fully functional glass cutting board, created directly from the ideas she shared. It’s a wonderful reminder that sometimes the most meaningful designs begin with a simple thought or inspiration.

We all have creativity within us, and projects like this show that you don’t have to be a designer to create something special. Sometimes all it takes is an idea, a favorite animal, a meaningful quote, or a memory you’d like to celebrate.
